raven flies by at eye level
me and my dogs silently
ascending in the park
just footsteps
air moves leaves rustle
soothing absence of human banter
imagining that God is the wind
sensing the space beyond
sounds expand amplify
all the birds sing to each other
filling the vast invisible
saturday evening peace
and i smile
